I’m getting real tired of bi headcanons being treated as a compromise option for when you just can’t work around the fact that a given character likes the “opposite” gender instead of an end in and of itself

I’m tired of seeing people looking down on bisexuals for interpreting characters popularly headcanon’d as gay (Poe, Elsa, Carol, etc) as bi instead as if they’re doing it to make them “more straight” or “steal them from the gays” instead of just seeking representation like everyone else is doing

I’m tired of seeing canon bi characters being called gay by people who know very well they’re bi

I’m tired of people claiming to love and support a bi headcanon for some character (or even the canon bisexuality of a character!) only to throw a fit when said character is paired up with someone of a different gender as if the point of bi characters were to represent gays/lesbians and not actual bisexual people with all the full spectrum of their sexuality

I’m tired of bisexuality being treated as a lesser type of representation
